How to use this test
Press Start Webcam Test and allow camera access. The preview appears locally, with the resolution, aspect ratio and camera name when your browser exposes them. Use the camera selector to switch between built-in, external or front and rear cameras. Only video is requested; this test does not activate your microphone.
Toggle Mirror preview to choose whether the image looks like a mirror. This changes only the preview, not the camera itself. Fullscreen expands the preview where supported. Check lighting, framing and focus, then press Stop Test when you finish. The camera is also released when you leave the page or hide the tab. No frames or recordings are saved.

Does this record me?
No. The live stream is attached directly to the local preview. No recording or upload is made.
Can I switch to my phone’s rear camera?
Yes, if your browser exposes multiple cameras after permission is granted. Choose one from the camera selector.
